Using the tools
The outlook calculator, treatment planner and guides are free to use for personal, family and clinical-practice purposes. They give general information and estimates based on published research. They are not a diagnosis, a prescription or a substitute for an eye examination, and we are not responsible for decisions made using them without medical advice.
Privacy
The calculator and planner run in your browser. Values you enter are not stored or sent to us. This public website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Patient information in the clinic workspace is handled separately, is accessible only to approved clinicians and is protected by access controls.

The text, design, software, calculation methods and data on this site are protected by copyright and, where applicable, trade secret and other intellectual property rights. You may view, print and share links to pages for personal or educational use. You may not copy, scrape, mirror, reverse-engineer or reuse the software, the calculation methods, or substantial parts of the content, or offer them as your own service, without written permission. Third-party components keep their own open-source licences. To request permission, for example for research or integration, contact the clinic.
Trademarks
KPMRT™ and Hayat Clinics™ and the ring logo are trademarks of Dr. Hayat Ahmad Khan. Other names belong to their owners and are mentioned only to identify them.

We link to outside sources for information. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content. News items from companies are labelled as company announcements.
Newsletter and your data
If you subscribe to the newsletter we store your e-mail address, your first name if you give it, the date and the wording of the consent you gave, and whether you have confirmed or unsubscribed. We do not ask for or store any health information about you or your child. We use these details only to send the newsletter, through our e-mail delivery provider, and we never sell or share them for marketing. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every e-mail; you may also ask us to delete your details.

We may update these terms and the tools at any time. These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates applicable there.
